Bunny's Bracelets are sold in memory of Bernard "Bunny" Mynahan. Bunny fought a valiant battle with metastatic prostate cancer until his death in December, 2005.
As of September 7, 2008 we have donated $20,305 to prostate cancer research at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute in Boston.
This year we sold $855 worth of bracelets at the Boston Prostate Cancer Walk on Father's Day, June 15th. All of that money was donated to the Walk in Bunny's memory. Hopefully we'll see you at the 2009 Walk.
It's amazing to think we've donated $21,160 to date. Any chance I get to sell a bracelet, or tell my father's story of his journey with prostate cancer, is a joy for me. As my father and family learned, it's possible to live a great life with prostate cancer. And, as I've learned, it's possible to live a great life after my father's death by giving back through the sale of Bunny's Bracelets.
