Bunny's Bracelets are sold in memory of Bernard "Bunny" Mynahan. Bunny fought a valiant battle with metastatic prostate cancer until his death in December, 2005.
As of September 1, 2009 we have donated $20,935 to prostate cancer research at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute in Boston.
This year we sold $630 worth of bracelets at the Boston Prostate Cancer Walk on Father's Day. All of that money was donated to the Walk in Bunny's memory.
It's amazing to think we've donated $21,790 to date. Any chance I get to sell a bracelet, or tell my father's story of his journey with prostate cancer, is a joy for me. As my father and family learned, it's possible to live a great life with prostate cancer. And, as I've learned, it's possible to live a great life after my father's death by giving back through the sale of Bunny's Bracelets.
